Its MISSION is

  • To support the establishment, institutionalization and capacity building of interface organizations in the KE/TT ecosystem and
  • To contribute to development of national policies, strategies and action plans for the effective and efficient implementation of technology transfer for increased societal impact

STRUCTURE and GOVERNANCE

General Assembly is the overarching governing body. It is comprised of member organization representatives and members of the Advisory Board, with one right vote per organisation. General Assembly convenes at least once a year with an agenda upon invitation of the Executive Board.

Executive Board  is the body responsible for operational decisons and general coordiantion of activities. It is comprised of nine member representatives elected by the General Assembly. The Chair and three Deputy Chairs are elected amongst  Member of the Board for a two-year period. The Board convenes as often as necessary.

Advisory Board members are invited by the Executive Board amongst individuals with significant background and expertise on university-industry collaboration, technology transfer.

Auditing Board consists of three members elected by the General Assembly to  audit annual activities and accounts of the Board. It submits an independent audit report at the annual General Assembly meetings.
