As a result of the challenges in finding and retaining qualified personnel, employee satisfaction has become increasingly important. In the face of growing competition, the key to organizations achieving standout successes and meeting their goals lies in having “happy and committed employees.” In organizations where employees are neither satisfied nor committed, staff turnover rates are high. As an inevitable consequence, knowledge loss within the organization cannot be prevented, and the organization’s image is negatively affected. The purpose of this study is to identify employees’ levels of engagement and motivation, and to share key insights for developing action plans aimed at increasing motivation and engagement in areas where satisfaction is low, based on the factors that contribute to satisfaction.
Our goal with this study is to gain insights into both the current strengths of our TTOs and the issues that require attention and priority to improve employee performance. Our Executive Board conducted this study, which covers all TTO employees, in collaboration with IDE Kincentric, one of the world’s leading consulting firms that has also undertaken significant projects in Türkiye.
The employee engagement rate at TTOs was determined to be 49%. Engaged employees speak positively about their workplace, have an emotional connection to their organization, and are motivated to go the extra mile to help the organization achieve its goals. Ten percent of the study participants are highly engaged with their organizations.
